baby weight

I'm writing an article about losing weight post-pregnancy for an upcoming Health & Fitness special section in the Packet. I'll ask local health care professionals and fitness instructors for reasonable expectations about losing baby weight (how much to people generally lose, and how fast?). I also would love to hear your story about baby weight...for example...it's been four years since I had my last (and final) child, and although I weigh only 3 pounds more than before having kids, exercise regularly and am fit, there is a floppiness around my stomach that was never there pre-baby. Sit ups, planks and lifting weights while sitting on a core ball haven't made a difference. The rest of me survived two pregnancies pretty unscathed.
Nursing each one helped me lose my baby weight and I went back to exercising a couple weeks after each child was born. I lost almost all of the 30 or so pounds I gained during each pregnancy by the time each baby was four or five months old, but like I said, a saggy stomach seems to be here to stay. Any advice?
