Hello everyone!!! This is my first blog I've ever posted!!! Pretty exciting!!! So down to business...I just started working for a company called Melaleuca selling eco-friendly products. They have great stuff and it gets shipped right to your front door...SAVING GAS!!!

Are you worried about your teenager passing the written DMV test?

According to the LA Times, you should be. They say that about 50% of the first time takers fail the test. That means that nearly 3.5 million Americans fail the test every year. My husband makes a program that helps solve that problem for teenagers and seniors alike.

I figured if I wanted info about a town, the best course of action would be to talk to other mom's! My husband accepted a position at the Air Station, so we will be down soon. We are trying to sell our home in PA and find affordable housing there. Can anyone give some direction of places that are family friendly? I have been reading the online newspaper and see there are some crime waves going on in N. Beaufort County...where is that? Any advice on the area would be greatly appreciated!

At my son's 4-month check up, when I asked about teething symptoms and when can we expect that, my doctor replied, "Well, he's about to cut his bottom teeth soon." I couldn't believe it - my little boy is growing up way too fast. And it was as if him saying that made our little one realize that he should be showing signs of teething. So, our happy boy who slept through the night turned into cranky boy waking up every few hours.

As many know this week is National Breastfeeding Week. I've been reading about other (larger) towns and the events they are hosting for this occasion. I got to thinking about these events and thought why couldn't Beaufort host something similar? If nothing else just a nurse in at the waterfront park?

The other day I emailed a question to nationally-know nutritionist Carolyn O'Neil, who has been on The Today Show and is a syndicated newspaper columnist. I was surprised and pleased when she emailed me back. Here's my question and her response:
