Teething help

At my son's 4-month check up, when I asked about teething symptoms and when can we expect that, my doctor replied, "Well, he's about to cut his bottom teeth soon." I couldn't believe it - my little boy is growing up way too fast. And it was as if him saying that made our little one realize that he should be showing signs of teething. So, our happy boy who slept through the night turned into cranky boy waking up every few hours.

His little mouth is too small for traditional teething rings right now and pain relievers do help, but I wanted to know if there were any other remedies you guys had to soothe my little one.

I think teething is just something that has to run it's course. Try wetting a baby washcloth and putting it in the freezer. I also heard to put water in a bottle nipple and put in freezer, never tried it though. I used the hylands teething tablets a few times and they seemed to work better than motrin. My daughter never liked the teething rings until just recently, she's 15 months. Good Luck!

Laura!

I discovered something when Matthew was teething over 2 years ago. In Publix, you can purchase a homeopathic teething tablet that work like a charm. I've recomended them to every new Mom that i meet..However, i just can't remember the name of them right this minute. They are in a blue and red box, and they are little white tablets that disslove on the tongue. they are absolute MAGIC. Look in the baby products section at Publix...they will be the only teething tablets there. I swear by them.
