I know this is a few days early - but who knows when I'll be on the computer again.

Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers out there. Even though I always knew being a mother was a special job - I obviously had no idea how true that was until I became a mother myself 4 weeks ago today.

Being a mom is by far the hardest job I've ever had - and yet of course, the most rewarding. Our little one is battling acid reflux, although I'm hoping with this new prescription that we'll get it under control and can start some what of a normal family life.

Once my husband and I decided we were ready (as ready as we ever could be) to start a family - that's all I could think about. That was my one wish, one prayer - to become a mother. To live out this miracle and fulfilled wish is a greater gift than I could have ever imagined. Of course - there have been a number of times that I've questioned my abilities in these 4 weeks, but I know things will get better.

I just want to say thank you to all the moms out there - you are amazing and never fully appreciated. The Mom2Mom community salutes you as do I.
