I wanted to let anybody who's ever thought about hosting an au apair know about an incredible special that a local agency is running right now. AuPairCare is waiving the application fee right now (savings of $300 !) until July 7. This is a great affordable option for childcare (I pay about $300 a week for 3 children !!). With the special you can apply and look at the au pair pool for Free. I have hosted au pairs for many years for my three children and love the cultural experience that it brings into our home as well as the quality childcare that my children receive on a daily basis.
I am a single mother of two 8 year olds. One is mine- girl, and the other is the son of my friend who is deployed overseas. I am trying to find a responsible teen in the area who is of course, trustworthy and reliable, who likes kids, to come "babysit" for a few hours 4 days a week. I need someone old enough to take them to the neighborhood pool, so 16 and up, and they have to have their own transportation. I work out of my home, so I would be in the house. Does anyone know of such a teen who wants a part time summer job? If so, please let me know!
My husband and I just recently moved here from NY and have been job searching! We are starting to get interviews and need to start researching daycare! I am looking for realiable and reasonable daycare and safe of course! With all the controversary now adays about daycare and shaking baby syndrome-it really scares me! Anybody have any ideas?
I was wondering if anyone had hosted an au pair before ? I have met two families that are hosting an au pair through AuPairCare. They have said so many great things about the program and how much they love the agency and the local coordinator. The childcare seems awesome as far as flexibility and costs. I was just wondering if anyone has any input on the program and the au pairs? Thanx !!
I am looking to become a summer nanny, when school is over! I don't believe in looking at television all day and staying the house, that is not what summer is all about. Feel free to read my blog and read about me! I have over 20 years experience and plenty of references!
I am preferably looking to work in the Bluffton area but will consider Hilton Head.
