The Sandbox is an interactive children’s museum dedicated to the positive development of young children through educational play in an atmosphere that fosters both family and community. Established in 2005, and located on the south end of Hilton Head Island, The Sandbox is the only non-profit play and learning center of its kind in the Lowcountry featuring region-related exhibits, crafts, and special programming specifically designed to stimulate curiosity, evoke creativity, and motivate learning in children ages eight and under.
